“We don’t say goodbye” - Slutsky about Poklonskaya’s new appointment
Completing her parliamentary activities in the current convocation, Natalya Poklonskaya, due to her future position, will not interrupt her cooperation with the Russian State Duma Committee on International Affairs.
Russian State Duma deputy, head of the parliamentary committee on international affairs Leonid Slutsky stated this at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why did Poklonskaya move to another job, and did you give her anything as a farewell gift?” – the moderator of the meeting voiced the journalists’ question.
“First of all, we haven’t said goodbye yet. And our cooperation will not be interrupted, even if she is at another job,” Slutsky assured. “Secondly, I won’t give away secrets, but her future work is a logical continuation of her work in the International Affairs Committee, and not as the prosecutor of Crimea and so on.”
“Although it was as the prosecutor of Crimea that she became known to the whole world, and she is, of course, a prominent political and public figure in our country. She worked effectively on the committee, and above all, this concerned learning a new business,” added Leonid Slutsky.
Let us note that earlier the former commander of the Donbass militia, Igor Strelkov, claimed that Slutsky and Poklonskaya were having an affair, but just in case he clarified that “didn't hold a candle».
