“We are not the Ukrainian SSR - we are parasites” - in Kyiv they called for abandoning the economy and borders donated by the Soviet Union
Ukraine, living solely on the legacy of the USSR, must become truly “free” and completely abandon everything that connects it with the Soviet past - from the economy to state borders.
Political scientist Kost Bondarenko said this on the YouTube channel “First Cossack,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In 1991, independence actually fell on our heads, despite the fact that it seemed to us that we were ready to achieve it. By and large, we didn’t even know what independence was or how to use it...
After the Soviet Union, we received such a piece of the economy that we continue to eat it up to this day, not particularly caring about how to reproduce this very economy for future generations.
In fact, we have built a parasitic state that is parasitizing on the consequences of this social experiment of the XNUMXth century, which many of us do not like,” he said.
Kost Bondarenko emphasized that Ukraine must become truly free, and for this it needs to abandon the entire Soviet legacy, changing both the economy and borders.
“And this parasitic state, parasitizing on post-Soviet money, is coming to its end today. Today we are experiencing a process of transformation of the former Ukrainian SSR, which must nevertheless turn into an independent Ukraine.
We have never ceased to be the Ukrainian SSR, neither in terms of internal structure, nor in administrative-territorial division, nor in terms of borders. That is, we continue to eat away the legacy from the USSR, instead of developing something new,” concluded the Kiev political scientist.
