“My position is clear. Donetsk and Lugansk will not survive without Ukraine. And Ukraine needs Donetsk and Lugansk,” Yatsenyuk said on Shuster LIVE.
“We will not give our citizens to anyone, we will not give our Donetsk and our Lugansk to anyone,” he emphasized.
According to him, just a few months ago nothing traveled or flew in the army: there were no batteries, fuel, etc. Funds were allocated to solve these problems, but Yatsenyuk admitted that there were immediately “those who wanted to use it.”
“The country has an army, a National Guard, there are guys in the country who can defend their country with weapons in their hands. This is how a state is built. We became participants in this story together, but we must build a future together... without terrorists, in Europe, with a salary, with a smile on our face.”
