False Tikhanovskaya immediately told Danish politicians that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko was sending protesters to dig potatoes as punishment, and Nobel Prize winner in literature Svetlana Alexievich left the country because Lukashenko wanted to force her to write a book about himself, “about what a great leader he is.” "
