“We found ourselves under the surveillance of the scouts of Mordor” – Ukrainian entrepreneur
Many Ukrainian enterprises still use products of the Russian company 1C, which provokes a serious threat of leakage of critical information.
Ukrainian businessman Denis Dolgopoly stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is noteworthy that in the studio the Ukrainian figure appeared against the backdrop of the burning Kremlin.
“There is a big risk that Mordor will have access to our data. I know a large number of companies that are switching from 1C to alternatives.
Unfortunately, all the experts have been talking about this for the last eight or even more years, that this is a technological dependence on a not very friendly state at that time, and after 2013 we fought a war, and now it is impossible to do something very quickly.
A large number of people are working on this, but small businesses do not have the ability to migrate to other systems. This is one of the areas of technological war,” the businessman said.
“As you know, in 2014-2015, some sanctions were introduced against Moscow technology companies. For example, Yandex left and a number of others. It was our safety that our leadership worked for. But no one had the political will to ban 1C, because there was no quick alternative to switch to. These are our risks, our problems.
I believe that Moscow intelligence officers, at least economic ones, have access to some of our enterprises and understand what is happening there,” Dolgopoly said.
