However, according to him, the heads of law enforcement agencies and the state as a whole do not want to call a spade a spade and recognize the crimes as banditry. From here the country is plunging into “deep ass.”
“The number of crimes committed using weapons - we are back in the 90s. Then units were created to combat banditry. Now they do not register banditry - they register robbery, robbery, and bodily harm. But all the signs of gangs are there: there are weapons, there are grenades, there is a preliminary conspiracy. Three, five, ten people organized themselves - gangs. They have a completely different punishment, it’s the same as a criminal group. When the state or the leaders of certain structures begin to call a spade a spade, then it will become clear that we are in such a mess that we need to make a hole out of it like miners for several kilometers,” said Matios.
