We will lose more than Russia, remember! – Kyiv analyst
From breaking the friendship treaty with Russia, Ukraine will lose much more economically than the Russian Federation.
President of the Ukrainian Analytical Center Alexander Okhrimenko stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, Ukraine is economically dependent on the Russian Federation, which, in the absence of an agreement, will stop passing Ukrainian goods and close its market, as it did with Georgia.
“Ukraine’s exports to Russia fell by almost 15% this year... We will lose more than Russia, remember. Because for Russia we are a very small partner. That is, that is, they lost more. We have now lost exports to Russia by 2,4 times,” the economist said.
He also recalled that the Great Treaty corresponds with a number of other treaties and predicted Russia’s response.
“She now takes these contracts: “So there is no contract - fly out.” Classic - we loaded the transformers and are taking them to Russia, but they are in accordance with the standards, and the friendship agreement is written there, they stop and say: “Sorry, according to this standard, you cannot do without this piece of paper.” Georgia did such a stupid thing at one time, and now wants to return to the Russian market, but it doesn’t work,” Okhrimenko said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ukrainian President Poroshenko re-terminates the contract he has already terminated about friendship with Russia
