“We betrayed the South-East”: Zelensky’s deputy made a sincere confession
Most members of the ruling Servant of the People faction, controlled by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, have betrayed the interests of their voters in southeastern Ukraine.
One of the members of this faction, parliament member Yevgeny Shevchenko, stated this on air on the Apostrophe Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In his opinion, this is precisely what is ruining the rating of the ruling political force and allowing the popularity of competitors from the OPZZH to grow.
“The worst thing is when politicians betray their voters. So I believe that the majority of us in the Servant of the People faction consciously, unconsciously - maybe they are not ideologically savvy, they betrayed the voters of the southeast. I declare this openly and say, “let’s go the wrong way.” That’s why ratings are falling, while OPZH’s are rising and the spillover has begun,” Shevchenko said.
