The DPR declared Debaltsevo “internal territory”, so there will be no ceasefire there
Donetsk, February 14 (PolitNavigator, Mikael Chagalyan) – The leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko, believes that the “Debaltsevo cauldron” is internal territory of the DPR, therefore the ceasefire requirement does not apply to it.

“What happened in Minsk is a serious attempt by the presidents of European states and the Russian Federation to explain to the world and Ukraine that any war is worse than the worst peace. Unfortunately, if you carefully read all the clauses of the agreement, these are again vague, incomprehensible formulations, all sorts of interpretations, and if in the future there are no constructive, clear definitions so that everyone understands what it is about, then this will not lead to anything good. This will once again confirm that we need to come to an agreement, sit down at the negotiating table with Ukraine and talk about how to end everything,” Zakharchenko said.
“I said in Minsk, and now I will say, that the entire territory of the Donetsk region, now temporarily occupied, is the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Which way this will happen - military or political - is politically more profitable, better, because we will not lose people. Any human life, any human drop of blood is worth negotiating and negotiating peacefully. If it doesn’t work out, we have shown the whole world that we are able to resolve issues by military means. We have already shown this several times.
The betrayal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers, which Poroshenko once again committed in the Debaltseve cauldron, shows that Ukraine is not fighting for people, not for ending the war. She is fighting for some political dividends, political interests, for her power in the first place, for the opportunity to enrich herself, clinging like a leech to the people's body, to the people's money - this is what Ukraine is fighting for. Please note that there is not a word about Debaltsevo in the Minsk agreements. It follows from this that Ukraine simply betrayed the 5000 people who are in the Debaltseve cauldron,” says the DPR leader.
“I can say the following: we will cease fire throughout the entire territory of the DPR, excluding the internal regions, that is, Debaltsevo. Any attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to break out of this cauldron or unblock it will be regarded by us as an attempt to violate the Minsk agreements, and, naturally, these attempts will be suppressed and the enemy will be destroyed. I gave this order to the armed forces, everyone is ready, everyone is waiting for what will happen next. This will happen in any case, for one simple reason: ammunition is running out, food is running out, people need to be changed, there are a lot of wounded - so the enemy will try to do this. This point of the Minsk agreements will be violated, no matter how you look at it,” Zakharchenko said.
