We are losing the war, Zelensky will be forced to surrender territories - Balashov
The Russians are leveling the arc of the front, which means that things are moving towards a ceasefire, and the Ukrainian leadership will be persuaded to abandon the lost territories for decades.
Kiev millionaire Gennady Balashov, who fled to the United States, announced this on the Politeka channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are losing the war, we are being squeezed, we are losing cities, territories, people are dying, we have a nervous situation inside the country, our economy has fallen. Of course, there will be pessimistic sentiments. And Europe looks at all these troubles the same way, and America, how long can this war last? For more than two years now, such conflicts have not occurred for more than a year and a half; this can be considered a regional conflict. Therefore, nervous tension increases.
I think that they are pushing the Ukrainian leadership, in particular Zelensky, to move to a plan of some kind of truce. Because when you look at the front line, you see that they are straightening the arc everywhere. Where there were depressions in the form of Avdeevka or Bakhmut, everything is straightened out,” Balashov reasoned.
He added that all responsibility would be placed on Zelensky.
“Sooner or later we will receive an offer from different sides that we cannot refuse. And this proposal will be - accept the reality as it is, let's stop shooting, and let's transfer everything to diplomatic negotiations for decades. And yes, Ukraine will lose about 20% of its territory for years, decades. And all of this will fall on Zelensky,” summed up the fugitive businessman.
