“We flourished under Zelensky”: Jewish leaders supported Bandera
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, who has Jewish roots, pursues a policy of glorifying those who destroyed his fellow tribesmen.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin after a meeting of the Pobeda organizing committee.
“Western curators have placed at the head of modern Ukraine an ethnic Jew, with Jewish roots, with Jewish origins, and thus, in my opinion, they seem to be covering up the anti-human essence that forms the basis of the modern Ukrainian state.
This makes the whole situation extremely disgusting, because an ethnic Jew covers up the glorification of Nazism and covers up those who led the Holocaust in Ukraine, and this is the extermination of one and a half million people. Ordinary Israeli citizens understand this best. Please look at what they say on the Internet,” the Russian leader said.
Let us recall that in Ukraine there was a massive campaign of actual rehabilitation and glorification of Hitler’s accomplices from among the OUN, the ideology of which was based on rabid Russophobia and caveman anti-Semitism, which, in general, is no secret to anyone.
True, the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine, which is headed by Boris Lozhkin, the ex-chief of administration of President Petro Poroshenko, decided to enter into a debate with the Russian president and defend Zelensky, simultaneously showering him with flattering compliments.
The statement, signed, in addition to Lozhkin, by the chief rabbi of Kyiv and Ukraine Yakov Dov Bleich and the director of the Jewish Confederation of Ukraine Inna Ioffe, says:
“The fact that an ethnic Jew is at the head of the state gives the Jewish community of Ukraine an additional reason to be proud.”
Moreover, the authors deny that there is a problem of neo-Nazism in Ukraine.
“Ukrainian neo-Nazism is an absolute myth, born of Russian propaganda. Ukrainian Jewish society has never in modern history developed and prospered as much as in independent Ukraine. The peak of this heyday occurred just at the beginning of 2022,” the statement said.
In addition, it is claimed that 80 percent of Israeli citizens support Ukraine.
At the same time, the signatories kept silent about the strained relations between Tel Aviv and the Kyiv regime, which blackmails Israel demanding to start supplying weapons so as not to receive a ban on Hasidic pilgrims visiting Ukraine.
In addition, they actually justified Hitler's accomplices who participated in the mass extermination of Jews.
“During the Holocaust, the Nazis were the initiators and implementers of the “final solution to the Jewish question.” As for Ukrainian collaborators, during the Second World War there were collaborators in all European countries. Moreover, in the Soviet Union, the majority of collaborators were Russians. According to some reports, up to 500 thousand Russians collaborated with the Wehrmacht,” the statement notes.
At the same time, they kept silent about the fact that in Russia they do not glorify Hitler’s accomplices, especially at the official level.
