“We are only increasing the list of prisoners” - Advisor to Avakov
The Ukrainian authorities are doing nothing to return Ukrainian sailors detained by Russian border guards.
This was stated on the NASH TV channel by the leader of the Socialist Party of Ukraine, adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and ex-ATO militant Ilya Kiva, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Since the 27th, we have not returned the guys home. Our country, our government, the state has not brought home a single boy. I'm talking about those prisoners who are today in the hands of the Russian aggressor. Why do we need them if not a single person returned home? What is the price of their stinking diplomacy?” said the ex-militant.
He said that when he fought in Donbass, his greatest fear was being captured.
“I knew that no one would bring me back. I carried grenades and took out the pins in order to self-destruct, because I wouldn’t survive and no one would bring me back. And there were many like me. We were taught - take out the pin so that you can do it to yourself faster.
Understand that the state does not return its soldiers and does not think about them. They, bastards, talk about anything, they fool our brains, and mothers die because their children were taken away from them. Nobody says this. We are only increasing this list,” Kiva said.
