We are confidently moving towards self-isolation - Kyiv expert
The current Ukrainian government, unwittingly, is depriving itself of the status of a rule-of-law state.

The director of the consulting company “Party of Power”, Elena Dyachenko, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, commenting on the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine not to show the Polish film “Volyn” and a number of other similar initiatives of Ukrainian government agencies in Ukraine.
“We are already on the verge when we can say that the state is not acting within the legal framework, that it is moving in a direction very reminiscent of self-isolation,” Dyachenko believes. – It seems to me that torchlight processions and escalated radical rhetoric from the mouth of the second member of the Popular Front coalition are the path to self-isolation. And it needs to be reflected on somehow and given a proper assessment. Because, in addition to political issues that can irritate either Poland or a part of the Ukrainian population that does not share this ideology, there are issues related to the legal field.”
“Russia very clearly defends its position, and whether we like it or not, it puts a clear legal position behind its actions,” the expert added. “At the same time, enormous efforts are also being made on the part of the Russian Federation to push Ukraine out of the legal field. There are no retaliatory efforts made by the Ukrainian authorities. And this is frankly a weak side of the current team.”
