“We are already de facto in NATO, and you are drug addicts” - Reznikov replied to Western “allies”
According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, Ukraine has already fulfilled more than 300 NATO standards from the list of required ones.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexey Reznikov stated this on the air of Military Television of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“When I met Mr. Valery Zaluzhny and we began cooperation, he told me that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had already mastered 380 NATO standards. Imagine more than 300 standards have already been mastered. For 8 years of cooperation and interaction.
That is, when we talk about NATO standards, they already exist. Therefore, when we talk about NATO countries that do not really want us to be partners, knowing that they will use the veto right, because they depend on the Russian gas drug needle. And they can use the right of veto so that we do not join and become a de jure member of NATO, then we are practically already a de facto NATO country,” said Reznikov.
