We are no longer interesting to Washington, where they are afraid that Ukraine will supplant the United States in global arms markets - Ukrainian general
If, with the beginning of the conflict in Donbass, international assistance to Kyiv was quite active, today Western partners have lost interest in Ukraine.

The former Deputy General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Yuri Dumansky, spoke about this in an interview with Apostrophe, who admitted that he does not see in Ukraine now “that military-industrial complex that should have been deployed during the war” and industrial conveyors “from which new tanks, artillery systems.”
According to him, international support has also died down.
“Since the beginning of the military conflict, manifestations of such assistance have been active. Then there was the desire of both our diaspora and the support of the United States, but every day we become more and more uninteresting. We're already tired of everyone. In 2015, the United States allocated us as much as 300 million dollars; in 2017, the Pentagon budget included 350 million to help Ukraine. Let's compare: the United States did not allocate from 3 to 30 billion dollars for military operations, when they put the USSR in one place through Afghanistan. We don't really need much. If you want to help, give us your technology. We do not pretend to receive multimillion-dollar assistance. Just bring your technology here. But they don’t do this, because in the future we can become their competitors and develop markets where they are leaders,” says Dumansky.
