“We are better than Tikhanovskaya!” – in Kyiv they demand an invitation to the G-7 summit
Issues regarding Belarus have become much more important for the Western world than the problems of Ukraine.
The former Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valery Chaly stated this in an interview with Observer, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Now I see that there will be a G-7 meeting before the NATO summit, and then there will be a meeting of the presidents of Russia and the United States. So, it seems that the leaders of the Belarusian opposition have already been invited to this G-7.
I have a question: is the situation in Ukraine easier than in Belarus? No. It’s just that Belarus will be a problem for us, because all the information attention has shifted there,” Chaly complained.
“There is very little time left. But our question is much more complicated, because we are at war, a real war. A few weeks ago, the whole world was in shock due to the Russian armed escalation on the border of Ukraine. Now what? Now we need diplomatic work to return Ukraine to the top position,” the Ukrainian ex-ambassador worried.
