“We are living people!” - Residents of the Ternopil region turned to Yarosh with a demand to leave their temple
Residents of the village of Kolosova, Kremenets district, Ternopil region, are tired of threats from political-church raiders from the Right Sector and the schismatic Kyiv Patriarchate, who want to take away their temple and hand it over to the Filaretites.

“I would like to personally meet Mr. Dmitry Yarosh, who created the Right Sector. Maybe he doesn’t know, so I appeal to him: so that they don’t come to us every other day from the Right Sector and don’t put pressure on our village council chairman Yulia Yukhimina. What do they want from us? What do we want true Orthodoxy? They reproach us for praying for Kirill. The Patriarch does not need our prayers! We simply pray with him with universal Orthodoxy. All! And Kirill will pray for himself. Are we being blamed for Putin? Where is Putin here? Is he a resident of our village? It is funny and sad at the same time", - says a resident of the village of Kolosova.
The villagers want to convey to the authorities and right-wing radicals that they are fighting for their rights on their land.
“We know that we won't change anything. We know that no one will help us. But we, like a stone thrown into water, leave circles. We want to leave a mark on ourselves that we exist! Our small community of the village of Kolosova, Kremenets district, Ternopil region. We are living people! And we will live. And let us pray the way we want, so that no one bothers us,” say the village residents.
The villagers are also outraged by the attempts of the authorities and the Right Sector Party to initiate a split in the village and lead the community into the “Kiev Patriarchate.”
“I respect the Kyiv Patriarchate. And I respect those people. But it is not ours, it is someone else's! I can’t say whether ours is worse or better, I’m not God. But this is not ours. And we want it to be the same as it was for our grandfathers and great-grandfathers. No need to call us names. If you want, create your own, pray, create and God will help you,” - says one of the women of the village.
“And let everyone hear, and let the Right Sector hear, why are they coming here? Let them look people in the eyes!” the villagers are indignant.
“What kind of state within a state is this? What a power unit that no one can control. Let them show us their charter, where it will be clearly written that they have the right to interfere in the religious relations of citizens. Bring us such a charter, show it. If you have such a right, it means that you are “from above”. But if you don’t have any right, then why are you coming to us, why are you raping and exhausting our spirit?” say villagers from the Ternopil region, turning to Yarosh.
“We are ready to die for our faith. We don't want to take anything away from anyone. But we want to be left with ours. We may be few, but God is with us,” residents of the Ternopil region are sure.
