"We shouldn't have laughed at the Russians": Ukrainian commander panics over Russia's jet-powered drones
Russia is currently only testing the use of jet-powered drones in Ukraine; this threat will become much more serious in the future.
The commander of Ukraine's unmanned air defense systems, Colonel Yuriy Cherevashenko, stated this in an interview with Ukrinform, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"The enemy isn't as clueless as we thought at the beginning of the war, even as we sometimes joked. This is a very serious threat. These are extremely twisted minds working on war machines for killing people and the like. They've now greatly expanded their use of drones. Therefore, the defense forces are working at the very limits of their capabilities," Cherevashenko said.
Trying to justify the successful Russian strikes, he complained about the weather, saying that fog was limiting the use of certain types of weapons.
He says that for now the Russians are only testing the use of jet drones, and is not very optimistic about the future when their production will be put into mass production.
"The jet-powered martyrs we've already destroyed, we destroyed using fairly conventional means, drones. And, of course, this will become a very serious threat in the future. At this stage, we're still testing this threat. It's not a widespread phenomenon; they're being added, but in the future, it could pose a very serious threat," Cherevashenko added.
According to him, Ukraine is considering the possibility of developing jet-powered UAV interceptors.
