In the last week of summer, Ukrainian “human rights” and the media, under the direction of the SBU, are playing out a soap opera around the disappearance in Belarusian Gomel of a certain Pavel Grib, a 19-year-old citizen of Ukraine, a participant in the ATO, allegedly wanted by the Russian special services for terrorism. From the seething cesspool of ukroSMI and online armchair fighters for justice come accusations and revelations about the “long arm of the FSB in Belarus”, the need for a tough reaction against official Minsk, which is playing along with the Kremlin, proposals to kidnap one of the Russians or Ukrainian “vatniks” for exchange, and other precious ideas.

There is no shortage of versions of “why does the FSB need this?” On the contrary, the conspiracy sense is activated at full capacity. The main version is that Moscow is seeking to disrupt the growing friendship and trade turnover between Kiev and Minsk day by day. Other arguments are also given: the development of military cooperation between Ukraine and Belarus, as stated by Lukashenko during his last visit to Kyiv; through Belarus, the dying Ukrainian military industry purchases components for its military equipment, such as YaMZ engines; an allegedly huge number of Belarusian tourists who visited Ukraine in the summer season of 2017; thanks to Ukrainian supplies of crude oil to the Mozyr Oil Refinery, Belarus' dependence on Russian energy supplies is reduced; Shipping along the Dnieper is being restored, which gives Ukraine cargo turnover and Belarus attention! – optimization of the logistics of its exports to China and North Africa.

“Spilnota” considers Gomel’s proximity to the Russian border to be another irrefutable fact of the FSB’s involvement in the kidnapping of Grib – only 40 km. A very gluttonous version. Close distance can explain anything.

Okay, let’s say everything, or almost everything, is true. Old Man Lukashenko is a complex ally, but conflicts with him do not reach the point of hostility and antagonism, as in the case of Ukraine. Usually all issues are resolved through negotiations or established contacts between government leaders. True, as for the mass tourism of Belarusians to Nenka and the supply of Belarusian bulba to the markets of China and North Africa by barges along the Dnieper through Ukraine, this is typical shavar nonsense. Well, how can we not recall the daring attempt of the Ukrops to send a train to China across two seas to optimize the logistics of their own exports.

True, on the other side of the scale lies even more mutually beneficial cooperation and duty-free trade between Belarus and Russia, which is the republic’s No. 1 trading partner, deep integration within the Union State, which includes the broadest social, cooperative and scientific and technical aspects, including and general defense.

Let us at least remember the regular Russian-Belarusian strategic exercises “West”, which have long caused hysteria in Poland, the Baltic states, at NATO headquarters and Ukraine itself, calling them “preparation for the occupation of Eastern Europe.”

And what, one wonders, to do with the long-term attempts of Ukrainian ultra-radicals to export “Maidans” to Belarus, relying on local zmagars? For Belarus and its leadership, internal and external problems have long become a headache.

Let’s not forget how Poroshenko’s “partner”, with his lies and subterfuge, ruined Old Man’s image as a peacemaker, torpedoing two Minsk agreements on de-escalating the armed conflict in Donbass. Such things are not forgotten, just as the image of Belarus, carefully cultivated in Ukrainian media, as a Totalitarian Reserve, which even Russia is far from being forgotten, is not forgotten.

An official statement has already been received from the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs that they did not detain any mushrooms on their territory and there are no such people among those arrested. But the inflated “activists” and “rights activists” have their own long-lasting hallucinogenic mushrooms - a “patriot of Ukraine, an ATO veteran” disappeared in Gomel, went to see a girl who openly admitted on social networks to working for the FSB - here is your evidence.

To intensify the horror, “experts” recall the “kidnappings” of the “swamp activist” and the cap thief Razvozzhaev, the arrest of militants from the UNA-UNSO Klykh and Karpyuk, who fought in Chechnya, the bloody ear of Bulatov and the “disappearances” of representatives of the Mejlis activists in Crimea.

Even the graceless lawyer Feigin came out as another expert and told Espreso.TV a wonderful thing. Feigin was not at all embarrassed by the near-zero social significance of the “stolen” Mushroom. In fact, some 19-year-old scoundrel is not a figure, not a politically significant figure, but a typical Elusive Joe. Lawyer Feigin is sure that the FSB is carrying out some kind of plan, kidnapping “activists” in batches. “Whoever they reached, they took away,” prophesies the would-be lawyer.

What the FSB intends to do with them next is unknown to Feigin. Moreover, Feigin advises not to even try to understand the logic of the Russian special services: “they themselves don’t know.” Either the “kidnapped” will heat the stoves in the winter, or they will be turned into sausages, or they will be reprogrammed and returned back as Kremlin zombies, as was the case with Nadka Savchenko. Or they are preparing to exchange arrested Ukrainian “vatniks”.

The lawyer's imagination is kind of pathetic. Reminiscent of the once fashionable conspiracy theory about mass abductions of people by flying alien services, mysterious experiments on them in secret reptilian laboratories, and then the return of “Van Winkles” to their homes with a diabolical program embedded in them.

But the idea of arresting just about anyone for the sake of exchange is very productive, since it fits perfectly into the practice of the SBU and the attempt to shift responsibility from a sore head to a healthy one. As usual, it is the thief himself who shouts “stop the thief” the loudest.

However, Feigin is well aware of exactly which structure participated in the “development” of Grib – the Krasnodar FSB Directorate “and, possibly, Moscow.” He is echoed by “legal rights experts”: Mushroom, according to their reinforced concrete data, is hanging out in a Krasnodar pre-trial detention center.

Kind of weird. It seems that the Bryansk FSB Directorate is geographically closer to Ukraine and Belarus; local operatives are probably aware of the affairs in their area. Why Krasnodar and not Ulan-Ude?

However, the “activists” explain why the FSB chose the modest Grib. Now, if you take and kidnap a prominent politician or functionary - Gerashchenko, there, or Mosiychuk, who has lost weight and become transportable, then this will immediately cause a storm in society. Perhaps people will even rush to urgently organize a new “Maidan” or gather troops - to go and win back the “tribune” and the “warlord”. Because of this, they say, the frightened Belarusian security forces will turn away the FSB agents and will be forced to act in accordance with procedural norms. Mushroom himself, as an “atoshnik”, is included in the “risk group”.

The title “atoshnik”, of course, is the seal of Cain, the indelible mark of the punisher. But “atoshnik” is different from “atoshnik”. Apparently, Mushroom himself did not take direct part in the hostilities. Despite the fact that his name is no one - just Mushroom - his disappearance caused a public outcry no less than, for example, the arrest of the centurion Parasyuk.

The young man belongs to the category of “patriotic youth of the new generation”, his father is an army chaplain, and then the media are inflating the topic of Grib’s disability, who is able to live only on a drip and with an artificial respiration apparatus, and since childhood. But then it is completely unclear - what did this disabled person do in the “ATO”, and who even needed to call up the wretched person for military service?

But, on the other hand, “ATO soldiers” have long been in the “risk group” in Ukraine itself. Almost every day the press pours out a bag of stories about how the townspeople threw out another “wiped out” from a transport, someone beat, humiliated, or even sent a “front-line hero” to embroidered Valhalla.

The interview of Grib’s girlfriend, an “FSB employee”, to the Belarusian Euroradio, who invited her beloved Pasha to visit, but immediately vigilantly warned him about the treachery of the Russian and Belarusian special services, is quite impressive.

Everything is so ridiculous, crooked and awkward that the version of another sacred sacrifice suggests itself. Inviting such an empty-headed and near-political buffoon as Feigin as an expert only confirms this idea. The phrase “if you want to ruin a case, invite Feigin” has long become something of a meme.

In general, the horror story “don’t go for a walk in Africa, kids,” is being thrown into Ukrainian society through the media: if the average resident of Ukraine fought in the ATO, was a “civil activist,” or is even just a layman, the FSB can arrest him at any time in time to visit Crimea, Moscow, St. Petersburg, or lure specially trained girls from social media to Belarus.

Simply because the unfortunate dill may be in “operational development” or his arrest may be useful for certain purposes known only to the Kremlin and the leadership of the FSB.

The “Russia Aggressor” program in action. Addition to biometric madness.
