Detentions began at the Immortal Regiment rally in Kyiv
In Kyiv, near the Arsenalnaya metro station, from where columns of participants in the Immortal Regiment action start today, the first arrests are taking place.
The police took away a nationalist from the Monolit organization, who started a fight with one of the participants in the procession.
In addition, law enforcement officers literally carried out another zealous nationalist, who shouted at the cameras that he was an assistant to a Verkhovna Rada deputy and was being detained illegally.
Earlier, before passing through a metal detector, the nationalists forced a pensioner who came to the rally to remove the red star from the banner, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
