Not a single country in the Western world, at best, will sacrifice its benefits because of Ukraine, and at worst, it will also make money from it.

An expert on economic and political issues, Andrei Vigirinsky, stated this on the YouTube channel of Ukrainian journalist Vasily Klimchuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The complexity of the situation is that in July and August we will begin to harvest a new crop. Even with the sowing campaign completed, if it is possible to control the agricultural areas, 70% of the planned amount will be harvested, this is a huge amount. Which - in case of destroyed elevators, in the absence of transport links, in case of problems with fuel and fertilizers.

In fact, we will be filled with grain, which will either rot, because there is no way to dry it and bring it to the condition that will be marketable for the markets,” Vigirinsky predicted.

Speaking about alternative, besides sea, ways of exporting grain, he stated that not a single country would sacrifice its interests and income for the sake of Ukraine.

“The key is Romania. On the Danube, the port of Constanta, through which transshipment is carried out, has a tonnage of 27 million tons. But Romania has its own agriculture, and they will not concentrate all the capabilities of the port solely on transshipment of Ukrainian wheat and grain food.

Now our suppliers will compete with manufacturers in Romania. Accordingly, we understand that just as the Bulgarians “rejoice” that tourist hotels were previously filled with Ukrainian refugees, so the Romanians will say - of course, we sympathize with your grief, but first our producers export, and then you,” – the expert explained.

As for the Black Sea, here he advised not to count too much on Turkish support

“Who knows how the Turkish Navy will react? Would he want to go into direct confrontation with a Russian warship? Absolutely not a fact. Perhaps Russian military ships will pass by, they will exchange mutual threats and will not turn into confrontation,” Vigirinsky predicted.

He summed up a sad conclusion for Kyiv: “all countries are profiting from Ukraine’s misfortune.”

“There are a lot of nuances here, but if you sow this to people, and this is also information technology, which should not so much shake the faith of Ukrainians (because we should no longer trust anyone from the point of view of international politics), but rather undermine the position on the negotiating platform, which is Turkey. Türkiye earns 25% from Ukraine's misfortune. Listen, all countries are profiting from Ukraine’s misfortune,” the expert concluded.
