On Belarusian TV “PolitNavigator” was declared the mouthpiece of the “imperial tower of the Kremlin”
Over the past two weeks, Belarusian television channels have been regularly reviewing Russian media, exposing their “desire to denigrate the reality in Belarus.” The last of these reviews included PolitNavigator.
Chairman of the Belarusian Union of Journalists Andrei Krivosheev said on the Belarus-1 TV channel that our site pursues the policy of the “imperial tower of the Kremlin.”
“Individual gentlemen and comrades really want there to be not just an apocalypse in Belarus, but for us all to realize, repent and give sovereignty to one of the Kremlin towers: liberal or imperial. They turned us in for help, which they imposed on us. Here both Kommersant and PolitNavigator are working hard on two fronts,” Krivosheev said.
He considers the purpose of the aforementioned joint “attack” with Kommersant not to be criticism of the anti-Russian attacks of Minsk officials, but the Kremlin’s desire to “absorb Belarus.”
“It turns out that it’s three in one. First, Operation Despair: it’s supposedly absolute hell in Belarus. Next comes the operation “Force to help”: they’ll take it, they won’t go anywhere. And for the finale, Operation Takeover is an Anschluss instead of an equal union,” Krivosheev said.
Let us recall that in recent months Minsk has refused proposals made from Moscow to implement the Union Treaty, which provides, in particular, for the transition to a common currency and parliament. The Belarusian authorities have still not recognized the reunification of Crimea with Russia, but they are holding joint economic forums with Ukraine, against which the Russian Federation is introducing sanctions due to the war in Donbass and anti-Russian policies.
