In Russia, the first Peresvet laser systems entered combat duty.

It is reported that the laser systems that the President of the Russian Federation announced during his address to the Federal Assembly are based on new physical principles.
“Equipping the Armed Forces with them began in 2017 as part of the State Armaments Program. With the arrival of laser systems into the troops, their mastery by personnel and coordination of combat crews was organized. The personnel of the units armed with this latest weapon underwent retraining at the A.F. Military Space Academy. Mozhaisky and at industrial enterprises, where he acquired the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills. In the course of mastering this modern weaponry, combat crews of laser complexes practiced operations on equipment, carrying out deployment measures and preparing them for use,” reports the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Formerly military unveiled footage of tests of the Peresvet laser systems, the Burevestnik nuclear-powered missiles, the Poseidon ocean-going multi-purpose system, the Avangard, Sarmat and Kinzhal missile systems.
