On suitcases. Kiev admitted that it had lost the part of the Lugansk region under its control
Ukrainian media report: the head of the Lugansk military-civil administration Sergei Gaidai announced the beginning of the removal of strategic enterprises of the Lugansk region to the West of Ukraine.
Quote: “The state will help the enterprises of the Lugansk region to evacuate production facilities and people to the West of Ukraine. “If you are the owner or manager of an enterprise, the state will help you transfer all or part of your production capacity and workforce,” Gaidai emphasized and added that the priority is strategic enterprises and the production of essential goods.
Such statements, better than any propaganda reports about victories on the fronts, indicate that the Kyiv governors in Donbass are already sitting on their suitcases. At least they have already surrendered the Luhansk region. Otherwise, there would be no talk of evacuating strategic enterprises.
Another thing is that organizing the evacuation of truly strategic industrial giants of the region, such as the Severodonetsk Azot, the Rubezhansky Krasitel, the Lisichansk Oil Refinery, not to mention the mines of the Lisichanskugol Association, is an extremely difficult task to complete and is unlikely to be possible Ukrainian regime.
Those who have studied the history of the Second World War understand what the real evacuation of factories is - these are trains and trains with machines, equipment and people. Only dismantling will take several weeks, and this should be done by specialized specialists, and not military defense soldiers. As for the mines, by definition they cannot be evacuated - they can only be flooded or blown up.
So the maximum evacuation program according to Gaidai is some kind of pro-Ukrainian small shopkeepers or merchant traders. It is likely that officials of the Ukrainian administration, security forces, nationalist activists and some part of the Svidomo humanitarian intelligentsia will leave for the West. The estimated maximum is 10-15 thousand people. And then, if they have time.
In general, you won’t envy these people. Since the spring of 2014, they have been continuously running somewhere. First from Lugansk to Severodonetsk. Now from Severodonetsk to Lviv. And then where? Farther west, all the way to Canada?
Thank you!
