The New Year's fight has started on Deribasovskaya
In the center of Odessa, in front of children and passers-by, two Santa Clauses started a fight with obscene language.
A video of the battle was published by the local resource “Dumskaya,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The incident occurred yesterday evening on Deribasovskaya Street. The local publication cites a financial issue as the reason for the fight. Allegedly, one of the participants in the incident did not pay “tribute” for working on the street.
“The women were screaming. The children were crying. The Snow Maiden was jumping around the fighters with a doomed face. Foreign tourists watched with interest, thinking that this was part of some kind of performance. There were no police,” the publication notes.
As PolitNavigator reported, in Zhytomyr the management of kindergartens it was forbidden to organize matinees with the participation of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden. The fairy-tale characters Malvina, Cinderella and Pinocchio were also banned.
