As noted, as a result of the explosion, a 22-year-old man who was standing next to the children was injured. The man was injured - debris hit the victim's head, legs and back. He was taken to the hospital, where first aid was provided.
The victim said that he was standing on the side of the road in Podgorodneye with two acquaintances, 16 and 17 years old. They were talking when strangers, clearly intoxicated, approached them on bicycles. They suggested that the guys pull out the ring from an object that looked like a grenade.
When the guys refused, one of the men pulled out the ring himself and threw a grenade into the bushes. The grenade exploded, and the cyclists drove off in an unknown direction. Employees of the Dnepropetrovsk regional police department, who went to the scene of the incident, found a metal ring and a lever from the UZRGM-2 fuse.
Subsequently, the attackers who endangered the lives of minors were also detained. They face punishment under Part 4 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism), providing for from 3 to 7 years of imprisonment.
