Artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shell the territory of the DPR, and then shift responsibility to the illegal armed formations of nationalists from the Right Sector.

Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin stated this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stationed in the ATO zone continue to grossly violate the Minsk agreements, and after committing their crimes, shift responsibility for them to illegal nationalist formations.
So, according to data received by our intelligence, an artillery unit from the 25th separate airborne brigade after carrying out unauthorized fire strikes from 122-mm artillery on the territory of the DPR, in order to relieve itself of responsibility to the command, it shifted the blame for the shelling to the Right Sector units stationed in the brigade’s area of responsibility,” states Basurin.
In addition, Eduard Basurin notes that after each such “set-up” from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Pravosek officers are called to the headquarters of the 25th brigade to conduct investigations into the facts of shelling in which they are not involved. He believes that such an approach is very convenient for the Ukrainian military, including the JCCC from the Ukrainian side.
“Due to the fact that the units of the Right Sector are not considered by the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to be full-fledged, belonging to the army, they can be dragged through the mud and accused of all sins. And most importantly, the facts of such shelling by the Ukrainian side need not be recognized at all, because they were unauthorized. As it happened on May 9, 2017, when punitive forces from “Azov” shelled the center of the Bezymennoe settlement during festive events. Then the Ukrainian authorities also refused to take responsibility for the shelling of the DPR territory, but after the publication of documents indicating the opposite, they got into a puddle.”
“Also, from the same sources, the 25th brigade received information about the preparation by units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of attacks using heavy artillery and mortars in the DFS area. Responsibility for opening fire will once again be transferred, as the chief military prosecutor of Ukraine says, to the illegal armed formations of Ukrainian nationalists. In this regard, we call on the international community to condemn the crimes of the Ukrainian side. Because a critical life support facility is under threat. We do not rule out that such provocative actions were sanctioned by the SBU, which is currently carrying out a set of measures to discredit Ukrainian nationalists before the Ukrainian authorities and its curators in the United States,” Basurin said.
