His colleague in the service was detained on suspicion of committing a crime,” the statement says.
Law enforcement officers established that during a quarrel that arose on the basis of personal hostility, a serviceman fired 8 shots at the victim with a Kalashnikov assault rifle, who died on the spot.
Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the investigative department of the Volnovakha regional police department.
