Majlis militant eliminated in Donbass

During the fighting in Donbass, Mejlis member Umer Volkov, who served in the 122nd separate airmobile battalion of the Airborne Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, was liquidated.

Elvina Seitbullaeva, a propagandist of the Mejlis banned in Russia, who left the peninsula in 2014, reported this in her blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

No details about Volkov are reported. It is known that he left behind a wife and a small daughter.

The unit in which Volkov served is based in the city of Druzhkovka, Donetsk region. Members of the battalion took part in hostilities on the territory of Donetsk airport from December 2014 to January 2015, as well as battles in Avdiivka and Novolugansk.
