This was announced by the director of the communications department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Artem Shevchenko, on his Twitter.

“After a long search, the body of National Guard special forces colonel Alexander Boyko, who was killed on June 3 in a battle near Popasna, was delivered to Severodonetsk,” Shevchenko wrote.

The National Guard of Ukraine reported the disappearance of the colonel on June 20, but then in Kyiv it was assumed that he could have been captured in the LPR, but later this information was not confirmed.
