In the Donbass, militias targeted a border guards camp with 8 mortars
Amvrosievka, June 17 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The positions of border guards and the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the night from Monday to Tuesday in the Amvrosievsky district near the village of Alekseevskoye were fired upon by militias with mortars, resulting in 31 servicemen being injured.

“Today, from 02.00 to 02.40, the positions of border guards and the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the area of the village of Alekseevskoye were fired upon by massive fire from 8 mortars,” reports the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine.
As the department notes, the fire was aimed and adjusted by specially trained people. The most important objects of the camp were at the epicenter of the shelling. Having taken up a perimeter defense, the border guards, together with units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, entered the battle and repelled the attack.
During the military confrontation, a total of 31 servicemen were wounded, including eleven border guards. One border guard with a moderate wound and one Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman with a severe wound were evacuated by a Ukrainian Armed Forces helicopter.
As Navigator reported, on the night of June 16-17, the military carried out an air strike on militia positions in Gorlovka. In addition, residential areas of Kramatorsk were shelled.
