A 21-year-old soldier from the Kirovograd region, Oleg Stasy, committed suicide in the Donbass. The cause of the tragedy is still unknown.

According to the deputy regional military commissar Oleg Molchanov, the Dobrovelichko military registration and enlistment office has an official document indicating that Oleg Stasy committed suicide. The event occurred on December 29, 2016 in the Donetsk region in the Svetlodar Bulge area, but the media reported about it only today. Why the ATO officer decided to commit suicide is still unknown. “Only the comrades who served with him can tell about this, but they did not stay for the funeral. They came, brought the body and left,” Molchanov noted.
The publication reports that Oleg Stasy went to serve, did military service in Desna, then decided to sign a contract and was sent to the so-called ATO zone, where he spent about a year. Oleg Stasy was not married, and there were no children either. Only his parents remained. Oleg Stasia was buried on January 1 at the city cemetery in Pomoshna, where the military man was from.
