Kyiv, January 27 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – The son of the driver of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko died at the front in Donbass. The head of the parliamentary faction of the Poroshenko Bloc, deputy Yuriy Lutsenko, announced this on air on the ICTV channel.

According to him, Poroshenko attended the funeral, which took place the day before yesterday.
Lutsenko clarified that he mentioned the death of the son of the presidential driver as evidence that people are going to the front who could avoid mobilization. He admitted that there are still cases where wealthy people buy their way out of being drafted into the army, however, according to Lutsenko, this situation is now being eradicated.
Poroshenko’s comrade-in-arms emphasized that disrupting the new wave of mobilization is one of the plans of the Russian side, since mobilization is needed to replace tired Ukrainian soldiers on the front line.
“The Verkhovna Rada must strengthen the punishment for desertion and failure to follow orders in battle,” Lutsenko called.
