In Donbass, police dispersed a rally of protesters against the looting of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Ukrainian police dispersed a meeting of residents of a village located in the territory of Donbass controlled by Kyiv, protesting against regular robberies and looting by units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This was reported by the press service of the People's Militia of the DPR, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The department announced constantly receiving complaints from residents of territories controlled by Kyiv about the atrocities of the Ukrainian military. At the same time, the Ukrainian administration, instead of punishing the perpetrators, persecutes indignant citizens.
“On August 15 at 18.40 in the village of Verkhnetoretskoye, about 100 local residents went to a rally against the actions of the 92nd brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Civilians of the city demanded that the military, who over the past few days have been plundering vegetable gardens, barns and houses of civilians, be brought to justice, covering it up with the need to provide food for military personnel on the front line. At the same time, the military takes away not only edible products, but also valuables and household appliances, presenting this as “forced-voluntary assistance to the defenders of Ukraine,” the report says.
The press service also added that representatives of the military law enforcement service and police who arrived at the site of the rally at 19.00 dispersed the women protesters to their homes, and all the men were detained on suspicion of carrying out anti-government activities.
