“I can’t imagine what it will look like. If you take it 15 km in both directions, it will be 30 km of territory of complete chaos and complete lawlessness,” he emphasized in an exclusive comment to the 1+1 TV channel.
“Enemy forces switched to artillery attacks on populated areas. Yesterday, the village of Vinogradnoye was partially destroyed (near Mariupol – editor’s note),” the battalion commander claims.
Now the fighters of the Azov battalion, who hold the defense outside Mariupol towards Novoazovsk, are actively working in reconnaissance groups.
As PolitNavigator reported, one of the provisions of the memorandum adopted in Minsk on September 19 provides for the withdrawal of weapons with a caliber of more than 100 mm from the joint line to a distance of at least 15 km on each side, which will make it possible to create a zone cessation of the use of weapons at least 30 km wide.
