According to Energy Minister Yuriy Prodan, at least 400 million UAH (1,17 billion rubles) will be required just to restart the operation of the Slavyanskaya Thermal Power Plant. The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine estimates the damage to its facilities at UAH 1,5–2 billion (RUB 4,4–5,8 billion).
705 km of roads in the Lugansk region and 228 km in the Donetsk region are subject to restoration, RBC quotes the Ministry of Transport. It also provides estimates of damage to the railway network: Ukrzaliznitsa names the amount as UAH 230 million (RUB 670 million).
At the substations of the Seversky Donets-Donbass canal damaged during the fighting, voltage was supplied only on Saturday, after the power lines were repaired. It will take at least seven days to completely fill the canal.
However (due to the capture and mining of the Karlovka filtration station by militias, as Kyiv assures), water supply to the western part of the Donetsk region was stopped last weekend.
The supply of products to Slavyansk and Kramatorsk is still busy. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy, state treasuries and banks are gradually resuming their work, which will make it possible to pay pensions, scholarships and salaries to public sector employees.
