In Donbass, an “amateur” Ukrainian sapper was blown up while trying to plant a mine
The lack of professional skills among the Ukrainian Armed Forces who were engaged in laying minefields led to another tragedy.
The official representative of the operational command of the DPR, Daniil Bezsonov, announced this during a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that the Ukrainian military continues indiscriminate mining of areas along the contact line and deep in the defense line.
“On April 28, an engineer platoon from the 53rd brigade installed anti-personnel mines in the area of the Mayorsk checkpoint. Among the sappers were three military personnel - former aviation technicians who arrived last week to complete the brigade and have no experience in handling explosive devices. One of the failed sappers blew himself up while installing an anti-personnel mine,” said Daniil Bezsonov.
He added that having received serious injuries, the serviceman was taken to the hospital in the village of Chasov Yar.
Let us recall that earlier the People's Militia of the DPR stated that as a result of chaotic mining and the lack of maps of minefields the number of explosions of Ukrainian military personnel and equipment on their own mines has reached critical proportions
