The driver of an infantry fighting vehicle of the 56th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, while drunk, caused an accident in which two Ukrainian servicemen died.

Official representative of the operational command of the DPR Daniil Bezsonov spoke about this at a briefing today, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In the village of Avdeevka, 1 km from the line of combat contact, a traffic accident occurred. An infantry fighting vehicle of the 56th brigade hit a passenger car in which servicemen of the 92nd brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were traveling. As a result of the incident, two servicemen traveling in a car were killed. The cause of the accident was the mechanic-driver of the BMP driving the vehicle while intoxicated and driving into oncoming traffic,” said Daniil Bezsonov.

He suggested that, as usual, the JFO command would present these losses as resulting from mythical shelling by the DPR NM.
