In Donbass, ATO forces are purposefully destroying infrastructure, – Zakharchenko
Donetsk, August 18 (Navigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – At the moment, water supply is disrupted in Donetsk and surrounding settlements. The DPR is doing everything to restore the infrastructure, said Prime Minister of the Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zakharchenko on the Novorossiya-TV channel.

“The water was turned off in Donetsk - the reason is that the Ukrainian authorities deliberately destroyed the power lines that ensure the operation of the pumping stations. Enakievo and part of Makeevka are also without water. A humanitarian catastrophe has not only arrived, it is turning into torture for the local population. The DPR has devoted all its efforts to restoring the operation of the pumps. About 3,5 thousand people who lost their housing were resettled in dormitories,” Zakharchenko said.
According to him, there are also big problems with water in Gorlovka. “There are also big problems with water – there won’t be enough water for a long time,” said the DPR Prime Minister.
“The DPR has introduced the death penalty as the highest measure of social justice. A criminal code was adopted, a decision was made in military courts. There was an order to combat banditry, and I am trying to achieve this goal by all means. No one has been shot yet,” Zakharchenko also said.
As Navigator reported, in Lugansk there has been no water and electricity for more than two weeks, banks are not working, social benefits are not paid, and there is no communication.
