Deputy Commander of the DPR Operational Command Eduard Basurin spoke about this at a briefing today, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Despite the decrease in the number of shellings and tensions on the line of combat contact, we continue to record facts of criminal acts against civilians in the territories temporarily controlled by Ukraine.
Thus, residents of occupied Krasnohorivka contacted us and reported that cases of looting had become more frequent in their city. If earlier they took place secretly and were carried out mainly by representatives of illegal armed groups (illegal armed groups) DUK "Right Sector" and "Ukrainian Volunteer Army", now this is carried out by representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, namely, servicemen of the 3rd battalion of the 30th mechanized brigade (separate mechanized brigade ), stationed there, commanded by I.I. Vinnik,” emphasized Eduard Basurin.
Eduard Basurin also told how the Ukrainian military is mining the apartments of civilians in Donbass:
“On January 1, one of the city residents, upon returning home, found Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen leaving her apartment, taking out her heater and several warm clothes. When asked about the legality of their actions, I received the answer: “You, separatists, will no longer need this - soon not one of you will remain here.”
Let us note that the most terrible thing is that in addition to the usual looting, these fascists, leaving the cleared apartments, mine them with trip wires, pursuing the only goal - getting rid of witnesses and apartment owners who may try to contact law enforcement agencies.
“According to our data, a soldier of the 30th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who was wounded yesterday, was blown up while he was installing a trip wire in one of the private houses in the suburbs of Krasnogorovka,” said Eduard Basurin, deputy commander of the operational command of the DPR.
