“I can already tell you. Today, Hurricane fire completely destroyed the base where several units were located, including the location of the 12th territorial defense battalion. Now drones are flying over this location and filming for Russian propaganda films. Indeed, a lot of military equipment was destroyed,” he wrote on Facebook.
However, Briginets clarified, “the camp was destroyed, there were 2 dead, there were several moderately wounded, but hundreds of soldiers remained alive.”
According to him, the Ukrainian command somehow managed to find out the time of the shelling, and they withdrew the personnel from the camp.
“I bow to the leadership of the battalion, which managed, despite the furious shelling, to save people,” Briginets wrote.
