This was stated by Deputy Minister of Finance of the DPR Oksana Taran.

“Literally the other day the Donbass post office began operating. 35 branches have been opened throughout the republic, 5 of which are in Donetsk. And we agreed with them that the DPR post office will take over the provision of pensions for disabled people of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd groups.

Yesterday was the first day of our cooperation, and I think it was quite fruitful. We served 3500 people - I think that's not bad in one day. We assumed about 5000, but our lists are not entirely ideal, so there may have been technical difficulties,” said the Deputy Minister.

Speaking about the ministry’s plans for the near future, Oksana Taran said that the department’s specialists are developing measures to make it possible to pay for utilities through the branches of the Central District Hospital. In addition, the ministry is trying to expand the bank’s territorial capabilities and is working on creating a treasury service.
