A network of arms sales by the Ukrainian military was uncovered in Donbass
In one of the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located in the “Joint Forces Operation” zone, the Ukrainian Security Service uncovered a network established by military personnel for the sale of weapons and ammunition.
The head of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, he noted that in the JFO area, the sale of weapons and ammunition to local residents by the Ukrainian military continues.
“In the village of Troitskoye, in the area of responsibility of the 30th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Ukrainian Security Service identified a network of weapons and ammunition supplies established by the brigade’s military personnel,” he said.
According to a representative of the defense department, employees of the military prosecutor's office arrived at the headquarters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces brigade to conduct an investigation.
“As it became known from our informed source in the 30th brigade, during the investigation, four servicemen were detained, including the deputy for armament of one of the battalions,” Osadchiy said.
