Ukrainian musician died of a brain tumor at an Estonian festival

During the “Augustibluus” festival in Haapsalu (Estonia), the lead singer of the Ukrainian group Ivan Blues & Friends, Ivan Denisenko, became ill. He was taken to the hospital, but despite the efforts of doctors, he died.

“Ivan managed to finish the set, after which he felt ill. An ambulance was called to the scene, and doctors massaged his heart for several tens of minutes,” said festival organizer Indrek Ditmann.
Doctors took the musician to Tallinn, but they could not save his life. Ivan Denisenko suffered from acromegaly, which was caused by a benign brain tumor.
