Previously, Bereza stated that Kozak Fest is dedicated to the victory of the joint army of Zaporozhye Cossacks and the Crimean Tatar Khan over the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in Zhelti Vody.

Kozak Fest is a partner festival of a similar event “Bandershtat”, which is held in Volyn.
