One and a half billion dollars, which allegedly belonged to the Yanukovych Family, began to be transferred from accounts in Oschadbank to the accounts of the state treasury. Secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchynov stated this at a press conference.

“I would like to thank the General Prosecutor’s Office... that they handled the case professionally without unnecessary PR and received not just a decision on preliminary confiscation, but a court verdict, a final decision on crediting these funds to the accounts of the State Treasury - to the State Budget of Ukraine... These resources provide funding for the State Defense order, security and defense sector entities,” Turchynov said.
