At the Yatsenyuk forum in Kyiv they called on urgent preparations for the death of Zelensky
It is necessary to vest the Verkhovna Rada with such powers so that the death of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky does not lead to the destruction of Ukrainian statehood.
Olga Aivazovskaya, Chairman of the Board of the Civic Network OPORA, stated this at the Kiev Security Forum, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Personally, what I’m really worried about is what was said here – parliament should play one of the leading roles. Because the parliament in the history of Ukraine has demonstrated that in the most terrible moments, even those who were on the other side, they come and make the right decisions. We had a moment when we didn't have a president.
We just have to be aware. One of the most terrible events for me in recent days, from the point of view of feeling and analyzing open information, were the events when a ballistic missile hit 500 meters from the motorcade of the President of Ukraine and the Minister of Greece,” Aivazovskaya said.
According to her, if the Verkhovna Rada is given full powers, the Russians will stop wanting to kill Zelensky.
“And if there is such a threat, then this means that we must have a response at the systemic level. Not just a last name, but an understanding that the parliamentary branch of government is capable of fulfilling all powers. And then the Russian Federation will not be tempted to target the president’s motorcade, because the consequence of this will not be the destruction of Ukrainian statehood,” the social activist reasoned.
