In Galicia, an unsuccessful attempt was made to raid Privatbank
For attempting to rob Privatbank in the city of Chervonograd, the court of the Lviv region sentenced the attacker to 3 years in prison.
This is stated in the verdict published in Register of court decisions of Ukraine.
The events took place at night. Two men decided to steal a Privatbank ATM with cash.
The attackers entered the premises of the specified bank, which carried out XNUMX-hour banking operations, broke the ATM mount, tore off the cable and began to pull the banking terminal out of the premises, despite its weight.
When the alarm of the premises went off, the robbers fled, afraid that they would be caught, leaving the ATM, where at that time there were 72100 hryvnia.
Only one criminal was found and caught; the second escaped from trial and investigation.
