The tragedy occurred on July 17 at about 15:1,5. A training flight took place in the region. It is reported that first the first plane passed over the beach, successfully making a steep turn and entering the glide path. However, the second side lagged behind the leading one and appeared over the beach only after 2–XNUMX minutes. Then he went into a steep dive and fell into the water.

The pilot managed to eject at the last moment, but fell into the sea and, due to his heavy equipment, quickly went under water. The rescue equipment reportedly did not work, most likely due to the fall being too low.

“The fishermen got the man. About 8-10 minutes later, a military helicopter arrived, made several turns and headed towards the shore, escorting an inflatable boat with people in life jackets. Unfortunately, after 15 minutes of resuscitation, it was not possible to save the pilot,” local channels reported.

The mayor of Yeisk, Roman Bublik, has already confirmed the tragedy.

“On behalf of the residents of the Yeisk region, I express my condolences to the relatives of the Su-25 attack aircraft who died during the crash during a training flight,” he wrote in his telegram channel.

Let us note that the crash and “landing” of the unfortunate man occurred several hundred meters from the shore, in front of many vacationers. Against the background of a fallen plane, you can even see a motor boat taking tourists along the shore - and instead of immediately turning around and trying to save the victim, the captain of the boat did not become distracted from earning money.

Various political scientists and other experts immediately made angry comments.

“What can we call all these people who did not help the combat pilot, but went by on a boat to take vacationers on a ride?

Those who filmed videos instead of trying to do something? Some kind of reptiles,” wrote Moscow TV presenter Andrei Medvedev.

In turn, military correspondent Roman Saponkov noted that such indifference is criminally punishable.

“A boat with vacationers is a criminal case against the owner for failure to provide assistance.

Providing assistance to those in distress is a legal obligation of the ship's captain, which is enshrined in Russian regulations (Article 62 of the Merchant Shipping Code of the Russian Federation; Article 30 of the Inland Water Transport Code of the Russian Federation, etc.). A special legal duty to act arises from the moment of visual discovery.

Also, criminal liability arises in cases where such assistance could have been provided without serious danger to one’s ship, its crew and passengers (Article 270 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation),” he wrote in his blog.

And political scientist Georgy Fedorov is confident that such a reaction from others is quite normal for the bourgeois society that has been built in Russia for thirty years.

“Well, this is the structure of our society. For decades, the authorities have been knocking the “Soviet spirit” out of ordinary citizens: collectivism, solidarity and Morality. All this time, the Russian people were instilled with individualism, selfishness, cynicism, indifference, greed and other “values” of capitalism. The authorities literally trained people, promoting the formula “have fun, get high and don’t give a damn about everyone.”

After all, the personal is higher than the public. And in general, people should not interfere anywhere, but mind their own business.

And then the war came, and it turned out that the majority didn’t care at all. You have put our people to sleep! He’s asleep and in apathy!” Fedorov was indignant.
