At the same time, from the podium of the Maidan, Vitaliy Klitschko announced the detention of “regional” Nestor Shufrich by supporters of the revolution.

“Revenge is not the best thing that can happen. He voted with us today and yesterday and supported us,” Klitschko said.

However, the crowd on the Maidan did not accept Shufrich’s offer of forgiveness and greeted him with disapproving whistles.

“You can judge me or not, but you shouldn’t commit lynching,” Klitschko said.

He was supported by other opposition deputies, explaining that in the Verkhovna Rada now every vote is worth its weight in gold.
